Did you buy it? Love the Meterorite dial No I did not, the 40 MM Daytona looks silly on my big wrists. Especially after taking off the Bentley 6.75 
Not to despair though, Rolex are bound to upgrade the Daytona with a better case in a larger size eventually. my guess would 2008. If it gets a nice big date feature and is available in that combo im in  In the meantime a nice Chronomat Evolution with a MOP dial and on leather should do just fine
