:yeahthat X5. Granted they increased case size, but the Sub and GMT Mater II only went up $1,000 with the heavy bracelet and top of the line (IMO) new clasps.

I was on the fence about this one - a $2,000 price increase is more than I can bear. Not saying it isn't worth it in general, but clearly not to me. A bit of a disappointment really.

That's not confirmed, it's all speculation right now. I don't trust anything from a website but the Rolex tag does say 7,400 and I'm assuming that's in Swiss Franc.

It's hard to believe an Exp2 would be priced that much higher than a ceramic SUB. It does have Rolex newest movement, upgraded case, new bracelet/clasp etc...but $8,250 would be a bit much IMO. I'm still waiting on official word from my AD.

This 2nd video is strange, and based on where it is located in the site (under the Breitling 1 page) I assume this is a Breitling demonstration. Is this standard @ Basel?? I assumed it would be a different atmosphere.

Once finished with the first video referenced above, I saw youtube links to these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di98JzKX ... re=related

Maybe I am the weird one, but these seem really strange to me??!!

I love that we're able to post these links here and share information with others. On another watch forum, I posted some info about the Exp 2 from this website and it was immediately removed. That site SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! I also had a sales thread removed twice because I used an asterik in my subject which is now strictly forbidden. I won't mention any names but it rhymes with douchebagzone.

That's what happens when a forum intended to serve a community of members gets bought out by a corporate entity and takes tons of money from certain brands. The slightest critique gets deleted and often the member is banned. Hypothetically speaking, that, about this fictional other forum.

It would be hard to imagine, but if someone had a beef with a BS sponsor and posted it in the Feedback forum, it would be quite proper.

This forum is unique among the watch forums I've visited. I hope it never changes.

At least all that happened to you was that your post was removed. Once I posted a lint to some info on this site to help out a mother member there. Not only were the links removed but I was publicly bashed by the moderator for doing so. I was so pissed off. That guy's such a "wus".

Anyway. Thanks for posting this link. It's great.

The explorer 2 size difference is a lot more dramatic than I would hane imagined. The bracelet is a bit out of proportion now IMO.

I love the side shots of the transocean. It has such a vintage feel with the raised crystal.

:lingsrock:
As a matter of fact, all the Breitling photos looked pretty good.

Guys, if one of the things that makes us different from other places is the atmosphere then let's not resort to bashing them please.

Plenty of sites for everyone and some people like strawberry, some like vanilla - to each their own.

But the "code" is nearly impossible to break. How could anyone figure it out?
