Just curious if any of the fellas here own a Deepsea? I've been obsessing over it for awhile now after wearing a friends for the day. Any pics?

Awesome pics! Definitely one of my grail watch! The AD here said absolutely NO discount on the DSSD. A while back, you have to pay a PREMIUM to even buy one!

I just recently bought mine. There are decent discounts available. I dealt with George from Govberg. Great watch! This thing is built like a tank. The adjustable bracelet is nothing short of amazing. My wrist size changes constantly with the weather so for me it is fantastic! I think from now on I am going to stick to bracelets where they have these kind of adjustments. The bentley line has a small adjustment as well which is great, but I must say rolex's new clasp takes the cake and so far it hasn't loosened up at all. No play so thats a plus. There are two things I don't like about this watch. One is the way the glare affects readability. They could learn a thing or two from Breitling on AR coatings. I could be off track on that one only because it is made for diving where maybe glare isn't an issue. Im not a diver so someone else could possibly answer that one for us. The second thing is that Rolex could have made the bracelet links the same size (larger for my preference) all the way down to the clasp and it would be perfect in my opinion! From what I understand it has the same movement as the submariner so nothing new there. The lume is amazing to look at durring the night hours, which in my opinion was definetely done on purpose for diving deep where there isn't much lighting. A couple of my freinds thought it was battery operated.... Oh well no more ranting on my part, but I must say I still love my breitlings more especially my 6.75. Thats my first love and by far my all time favorite!
:lingsrock:

On another note: Altair should be an offical photographer for watch lines! His photo's make this particular watch look even more amazing than in person! I have his origonal post with these photo's bookmarked! Just amazing shots. I don't think I ever said thank you for posting them so here it goes. Thanks Altair! Still loving them!

Nope its a keeper... actually I really don't plan on selling any of them as long as I don't have to. I would rather my son have them one day as long as I don't have to sell them. :D

Is the DSSD a good every-day watch in your opinion? My only concern is that it's so top-heavy. Is it any thicker than a Seawolf?

Tourneu must be selling a lot of DSSDs. I just stopped in and they won't come off list price at all. $9250 + 10% sales tax = no way.

I don't own one, but I've tried one on and it's a perfect everyday watch IMHO. To be fair, the SeaDweller always has been a watch to be used : it was never designed to be a safe queen!

What kept you from wearing it?

If I get one, it's probably going to be my only watch for a while as I will sell a couple other pieces to fund it and I will probably be wearing it daily...

Do you guys think 7200 is a fair deal for a LNIB V series Deepsea?
