I always thought of them along the lines of louis Vuitton (blech) but this artivle is a real eye opener. Seems like there manufacture is very sophisticated indeed.

Chopard is still a family owned company. At the fair I met Mr. Scheufele senior in person this time. He is a really nice and friendly man. His son and his daughter are running the company in fact already, but the old man still has a word to say. They have four lines of watches:
Happy Sports (or diamonds...) with the moving diamonds between 2 crystals on top of the dial, using ETA quarz movements
Jewelery watches, using ETA quarz movements
The Mille Miglia series, using mechanical ETA movements
The LUC series, using own manufacture calibers (very flat, 22ct gold excenter rotor, COSC, poicon de geneve (most))
