Hi every body, i am very much intrested in the IWC Portuguese Automatic Steel Blue 5001-07 (with power reserve indicator), but i feel it is a bit pricey retailing around USD 11,000, do you think this price tag is justified? can anybody shed some light on the quality of the movement and the whole watch and the brand in general?

It's $8840 on PrestigeTime.com

Honestly, I like the 3714-38 better, and it's $3000 less!

thanx Brian, no doubt the one u proposed looks lovely as well. the idea is that i have lots of chronograph watches in my collection and i think it is just about time to add one with power reserve function :)

I can't see why the cost is so much higher between the two models. IWC makes some great pieces for sure. I wouldn't mind having one in my collection someday.
