Headed to Basel today and I'm gonna check out a few brands for my stores. I wanted some input from you watch freaks out there! ![]() Bell & Ross U-Boat Graham London I love niche' brands and want brands that retail in the USA for 2K to 10K. I appreciate any input on these above brands or others you may like! Thanks gang! Barry |

Not a fan of U-Boat at all - overpriced even with heavy discounts in my opinion and not the greatest quality. Bell & Ross is a popular brand and has some nice designs - they also have the marketing support behind them which will help you from a sales standpoint. Still overpriced for waht's inside, which means heavy discounting, but I guess that's OK if dealer price reflects that. Same can be said for Graham, although they are showing signs of moving in house with their new GMT movement (I think technically an exclusively contracted movement). Graham would be my personal favourite, but Bell & Ross would probably be the bigger sellers. |

Thanks Roff... Luv your input sir. I agree with all of your sentiments. U-Boat and Bell & Ross have been coming at me hard. Graham is not exhibiting at Basel but they invited me to dinner Sunday night to show me the brand and discuss. Bell & Ross are nice as well. Omega wants to come in but they compete directly with Tag... We are on the Gulf Coast of Florida and home of Pensacola Naval Air station (Home of Naval Aviation and The Blue Angels) We also have Eglin Airforce Base within 40 miles. Brands that have a GMT or Pilot type sporty look or dive type watches tend to do well here. We are a sporty water based community, so dressy brands such as Patek, Vacheron, Glaschutte, etc. tend to garner less interest than the sporty brands. Again thanks for your input! Barry |

Barry I think Bell & Ross would offer another aviation themed brand. They don't have any engineering breakthroughs but do offer some simple design and attractive pieces IMO. I always keep up on their new Heritage pieces which may be in my future (?). |

I would agree that Bell & Ross would be a great choice. Since I visit your place and drool on the counters a lot. ![]() |

Of those brands, Bell & Ross jumps out at me too (but I am a B&R fan). I think Roff put it well. |
