Yeah I saw that on the weekend, Tudor used a similar font last year as well if I remember correctly.

I don't like it on that either.

No no no, it's just as bad on a Tudor. Why on earth are they doing this?

Ugly is ugly. I don't care what brand is doing it.

I'm not saying it looks better because it's a Tudor, besides from the dumb bezel font, the B01 is a pretty classically designed Chrono. This thing is more...futuristic I guess? That's not the word I want but I can't think of it right now. I'm just saying that the font fits better with this style watch than the B01 but I like the B01 more than this thing. Either way, the font sucks.

On balance, so do I. This watch is obviously a few steps down from the B01, and it's certainly no Rolex, either. I like the B01 in principle, even more so now that they're introducing a 41mm version of it, for small-wristed fellas like myself. My beef with it is twofold - the bezel font, obviously, but also the dial designs, which to me are too busy and seem fad-ish and non-enduring. If they would reintroduce a classic style bezel and dial in both 44mm and 41mm sizes, with the in-house movement, I'd be thrilled. (Assuming, of course, that they get the bugs worked out of the movement.)

I'm with you on the dials. That's the reason that I love the Flying Fish, one of the few nice things to see from them in the past week. It has the black dial with black sub and batons. That's the perfect dial for this watch in my opinion. Plus it's brushed, how great is that? And just a touch of a red accent with the red seconds hand. They really hit a home run with that one. Dumb nickname and weird font aside, I think this can stand up next to the Navi 01 and the TO as THE Breitlings.

I don't like how Breitling put this square line on the dial on the Chonomat 41 and then angled it by the date window. It looks out of place. They would have been better to just leave that off the dial.

However, in the original B01 the square is much less visible with Romans than with batons.

However, I do not know if the "41" will come with Romans.
