looking though my new watch book I stumbled upon BRM. Not swiss but bad @ss looking all the same. A little pricey for me but.. I sure would like to have one of these....

BRM are French I think aren't they? They make some very original looking timepieces, but they are also (as you rightly say) very pricey. I think they are very "niche" in their appeal - a real "love or hate" brand I think.....

Personally I find them interesting, but I don't think I would wear one myself. (Maybe as a 10th or 11th watch or something! :wink: )

Yes I believe they are French. I think this model is something like $22,000 retail. OUCH. But really interesting to look at.

That's a LOT of cash! I'd need to have one of those zeros knocked off the end to be in the market for one! :wink:

The only watchmaker I really like with that "hi-tech" look is Richard Mille. But they tend to be even more expensive. :cry:

Yep.. French.. They are all racing themed watches from what I can tell... kinda funky looking but I think their outlandish looks tire in short time... for some reason Cvstos and Richard Mille, which also have similar types of see-through dials that show crazy inner workings don't appeal more to me.
