doeas anyone have a link or anything to identify Illinois Pocket Watches and their movement MODEL numbers? I can only find sites with the production dates, not the actual model numbers with the use of serial numbers and such. If there isn't some source to identify it, what are some ways that I can go about to determining the model number of an Illinois?

Don't have one to hand in the office, but the annual price guide (the big 1,000 page plus thing) usually has model identification based on plates and size.

What exactly is the name of that guide? Maybe I can get one (if its not too expensive...)

Just checked it and there are quite a few photos / drawings for Illinois. It's called the Complete Price Guide to Watches by Engle, Gilbert and Shugart. It's published every year for about $30, you can probably get older ones for less.

Oh ok. I just looked it up on Amazon and yeah, the older versions are around $10. Thanks, should come in handy!
