OK, so we all know that I don't always share acquisitions, but I just picked up an incredible piece for an unbelievable price so thought that I would share. It needs to be shipped to me so will take some time before I can actually show you photos so I thought that it would give me a chance to be a bit of a tease and see if anyone can guess what it is.

I'll give you a few clues........

1) It has an in house movement according to the brand, but is actually an in house complication module on a base from an independent brand better known for their own watches

2) I think that I am the first member on the board to own this model

3) It has two rare complications

That should narrow the list down - let the speculation begin

Not an AP, and not a perpetual calendar. Equation of time is close, but not quite.

Bucherer Patravi Chronograde? It is theoretically "in-house" with retrograde chronograph hours and annual calendar complications.

Hmm, now that's an idea

No, I have seriously been toying with the idea of picking up one of Roland's tourbillons, but I think I'm going to wait and see what happens to them in te secondary market.

I gave you all an extra clue in my reply to rebel_1

My guess was a sidereal time complication but there aren't many options outside of PAM and the JLC Hybris Mechanica line.

Dewitt Triple Complication - GMT3???

Damn, now I'm thinking I bought the wrong watch - the DeWitt would have been cool!

Not a sidereal time complication, but both of the complications would be in that general 'family' of complications.

I can't even think of another complication from that "family" that ISN'T a perpetual calendar, or an equation of time, or a sidereal time complication..... :huh

So if I can't even think of one complication in that family (other than those above), I'm not going to be able to think of two........ which makes coming up with the watch rather tough!

Semi-perpetual (or annual) calendar? Retrograde date? Moonphase of some kind?
