I like them. They're nice and comfortable.

I've got one on an Aerospace. Seems to fit the look pretty well.

Don't hate them but never understand the attraction - other than the practical aspect of your watch remaining on your wrist if a spring bar falls out.

Not really my thing, they seem a little 'toy like' to me, but recognise that is just an opinion. I do think that they look a little odd on big thick watches like many Breitlings.

For me, I love the looks of a sub on a nato

I think they look great on the right watch. A Sub obviously is one, after seeing a couple of pics of a PO on NATO on WUS I bought one for my PO. Once I actually put it on it I'll get some pics. I think they're a good cheap way to change up the look of a watch.

:yeahthat

They can look OK on certain watches, and I understand the practicality especially for military applications, but as far as the look goes I can take it or leave it to be honest.

I don't like them. To me they always seem to be a bit a thin and flimsy.

me too...never been a fan of these straps. They do make the watch look more sporty and rugged. but honestly....making an automatic watch that you pay good money for to make it look more rugged or perhaps be more rugged to use for rugged activities seems a bit to harsh for me. afterall thats what a G shock is for right? maybe i am just saying this because im cheap and couldnt afford to use a nice watch as a beater hahaha :D

I picked one up for my Emergency, for precisly the reason that it "sports" it up even more. However, since swapping on a ti bracelet, the NATO has been collecting dust. A LOT of dust.

Don't much like them. They remind me of the striped cloth casual belts popular in the late 70s/early 80s and I never liked them either. Come to think of it, the are just smaller versions of those belts! Ok, that settles it - hate 'em!

They perfectly suit those belts Tom was talking about.

I sure hate'em now but I have to admit that I used to have one but only because it had an RAF buckle on. I later threw away the belt but kept the buckle.
