Just saw one of these at the AD - I'm not a big fan of Zenith, but this really is a nice watch. They had the gold but the watch is also available in stainless - http://www.zenith-watches.com/scripts/g ... geid=3_2_1 Not sure I'd spend that much on something that wasn't a Breitling (steel lists for $13,000 or so, gold for over $30,000), but it's a great looking piece and you're obviously paying for the El Primero movement |

I really like the open Zeniths, but a lot tend to to be a little too dressy for me, unless you go for the Defy range (both the Classic and Xtreme models are superb IMHO) |

The Defy just doesn't do it for me - I want to like it, but can't bring myself to. I know what you mean about dressy - the retrograde version of the Chronomaster was there too and that certainly gave me that sense, but somehow this one didn't seem too bad. |

Beautiful watch.. i'd be happy with the non-big date one though.. much less money.. around $8500 I think at US List? Unless it has gone up. |
