My eldest son has asked for one of these if he does really well in his upcoming exams...anyone know much about them, good source for one etc etc, I'm somewhat in the dark with respect to these watches.

any info gladly accepted.

(mayby for his big exams in a couple of years he'll ask for a breitling   )

Video review here if you've not seen it.

It would seem this is a "cool" watch - I lost track of the number of times the reviewer used the word!

Does look fun though I suspect the novelty would soon wear off.

New version has been introduced at Basel fair, although, I don't know, when it will be available. If You can wait, wait for that. It has a couple of technical improvements.

Post subject:  I have two...

I have two T-Touch watches...I have the regular T-Touch on a black rubber band and then the Navigator 3000. Both are awesome. When I was in Afghanistan, I wore the black one everyday for 188 days straight. Kept perfect time and is extremely rugged. Perfect watch for being outdoors, hiking, swimming, sailing, climbing, you name it.

The Navigator 3000 was an impusle buy, but I love it. I have one other Tissot, a limited edition T-Race. With three Tissots, I have to say the quality, customer service and reliability of this company and its products is unmatched.

I bought my T-Touch from Princeton Watches in FL...had a good price and I have always received excellent service from that company as well. However, I think they stopped selling Tissot about a year ago. My other two Tissots were purchased in WA state at AD's around the Seattle area.

When I was looking, there were some great deals on eBay too...if you are into buying from them.

Check out the official Tissot website for their prices...they run about $100 more than I have seen at AD's...that would be an option for purchase too, since they have not sold on the site in the past. They also have an extensive list of AD's on there for the entire world...

Great choice...you will want one too when you get it for your son!
