I had mensioned this watch in passing in another thread and someone asked for pics, sorry for the late reply

The watch is a bargain, absolute 10 in the value department. Corse movement and nothing special finish. Feels OK on the wrist provided you change the POS rubber strap. The reason I had bought the watch was

A- First Bi lingual date watch I ever saw.
B- I needed a watch for diving-hiking-camping and any other rough situations.
C- it was a 130 USD from the AD.

Main advantages:
1-Price.
2- Built like a tank. This one has been banged, submerged, and worse and it still looks good.
3- Price.
4- With a nice band can look decent enough for everyday wear.
5-Price.
6- After wearing it for a day and straping on a Ling, Rolex, Omega etc you remember why those watches cost so much.
7- Price.
8-Value.
9- Did I mension it was CHEAP!
10- Sweep movement is pretty good, much better than its price would indicate.

You usually get what you pay for, with this watch you get WAY more. If you thought about it just get it for beating around.

This particular issue has the option of displaying the date in both English and Arabic. Pretty cool!

There are many bilingual date watches on the market. They are just hardly sold in Europe or the US

I remember most of the cheap old Seiko 5 Automatic series, which had a daydate, had it bilingual.

I think Seikos are great watches for the money... And the other thing that should be mentioned... Seiko is a Manufacture! And there is no Premium for their Manufacture movement watches.

Im pretty sure I have seen some Rolex Day Date in multiple languages, not sure about other brands, but I suspect they are indeed out there, just not as common. I was never really into Seiko watches, but this one is very sharp looking. I really like the basket-weave strap it has on it. I usually use my Tag as a beach/beater watch, but I am starting to consider picking one of these up. Nice choice, good to hear its such a good value, and you get alot of watch for the price paid.

The strap I have on it is a kevlar leather strap from the watch prince. Can't beat its looks and feel for 20USD!!!!

I do not understand why people would rather buy a cheap fake when they can get an original, manufacture Seiko for less!!!

Nice watch!

I have a similar Seiko with an orange dial which I purchased in Doha, Qatar. It too has the multi-lingual date.

I have the rubber band on mine still, but I do like your kevlar one...where did you get that?
