Hey guys my beater Citizen Titanium Calibre 2100 needs a good cleaning again and I'm going to try and get some of the scratches out with the various eraser, scotch brite, cloths... methods. In the past I have used an old head on my Sonicare tooth brush to clean up the watch. It's an eco drive so I'm not terribly concerned about the vibrations but I usually clean the bracelet under water in a mild warm soapy bath and the case out of water.

Anyone else ever use a sonicare to do this?

I'm going to document my scratch removal attempts to see how it goes. Might help to answer some of the mystery surrounding Ti scratch removal

Don't forget to floss.

Personally I WOULDN'T clean any of my watches with any powered toothbrush. A soft brissled toothbrush cleans with little problem and I dont see the need for power tools on my watches. This from someone who really gunks up the daily watch on a regular basis. My regular Steelfish is on a Ocean Racer strap and with the diagonal slashes in the back of the strap...well it can get really disgusting. About 10 minutes with a regular toothbrush, plain ole bar soap and cool running water and its super clean again.

FYI

I use the Oral-B Vitality, it's faster than with a normal toothbrush.
