Saw one of these today at a local AD, I questioned the statement claiming to be the worlds most accurate watch (with a sweeping second hand). The AD said they are quartz watches which is how they are so accurate and still have the sweeping hand. Still it seems to be a broad claim, I dont know that much about watches just seeing if anyone else has come across these. The sweeping second hand was very smooth for such a cheap watch around £200 +, seemed like a decent buy even if its still a quartz.

Good find, never seen this movement before.

I seem to recall something on here in the past which said the problem with a sweeping quartz seconds hand wasn't technical but battery life.

Bulova claim 3 years which is similar to the low end estimate of a battery in a quartz Breitling but even a couple of years would be good going.
