I have 3 watches. All of which have a chorno feature. I am just curious to find out how many of you use this feature on a daily basis. Personally I rarely use it.

I have about 25 or so watches in my rotation (some are rarely worn). Among them are six G-Shocks and a Breitling Aerospace. Those are the only watches I own that have a chronorgaph function and I can't remember the last time I used it. I have however, used the stop-watch on my iPhone to time my son solving his Rubik's Cube (always under a minute and as fast as 26 seconds).

I use my chronos maybe not daily, but quite frequent. Normally for timing work experiment set ups or cooking at home.

I always find uses for the chrono! Cooking, tea breaks, parking meter, study time etc. Yeah, OK. I'm a geek!

However, I more frequently use the bezel for under 60' periods.

About once a week, sometimes twice.

Here's a lengthy thread on this from 2009.

I tend to use mine quite a bit for various things. But, a lot of times I'll just start the chrono when I put the watch on for the sheer purpose of making sure everything is running smooth and lubricants are staying properly dispersed. If you never run the chrono, the oil on those wheels can start to gunk up or break down.

you know its weird....i love the look of chronos but rarely use it to time things. And i really should afterall its a stop watch. I do remember once I tried to time something that I had in the oven, so I used the chrono. Well totally forgot about the fact that i used my watch to time the cooking and needless to say my food was over cooked. now i just use the microwave.

ive always liked the looks of chrono but just never had any need to use it.so ive learned to like the cleaner look of a three hand auto and sold off most of my chronos. it just didnt make sense to spend the extra money on something im not going to use anyway. steve

You use the microwave for timing or cooking? ;)

Many years ago while being a student I tried to manage most cooking with a microwave, but found it a bit limiting.
