Hi guys. I just bought an old omega pocket watch, but the movement is marked "Regina Watch Co". I heard they are involved in the Canadian production/distribution of omegas or assembled them but am unable to find alot of info about this. Can someone please clarify. Thanks. |

Regina started out as an independent manufaturer in Bienne (Switzerland) and was acquired by Omega in 1911. They started exporting watches to Canada under the Regina name the following year as sort of a 'mid range' quality. You can also find Regina watches exported for the US market, but they tend to be later - 1924 onwards. |
