What would you pick between a PAM 243 and 305? I'm looking for another future buy and keep jumping back and forth. I wouldn't be looking to buy for months but I just can't figure it out. For some reason I love the ruggedness look of the subs.

Any reviews from people who own or have owned these pieces would be great!

Thanks :D

Between the two I'd go with the 243 just because the size is a more manageable, to me at least, 44mm vs. the 47mm 305. Plus I like that the 243 is steel instead of titanium like the 305.

All that being said I've never owned, or even wore either of them.

I would pick the 305. I like that it is titanium, plus it has an in house movement. If you are getting a Navi World then the size isn't that much of a difference.

Good point about the in-house. I forgot about that, that would probably be enough to sway my vote, as long as the size wasn't an issue.

Neither. I am not a fan of the PAM subs.

I would go for the 312. Love the 50's case and the display back.

Id go with the 305 if you can pull off the size. Too bad there doesnt seem to be a 44mm steel in-house sub. And if there is, then I change my vote to that one :D

305, the movement would swing it for me.

This is a difficult one.

I prefer the case material and in-house movement of the 305.

However, having a smaller wrist I know the 243 would wear better and I always think that a Panerai should have the Panerai numbers. I appreciate that the 305 dial is a copy of a vintage Radiomir dial but I think this point alone would swing it towards the 243. The 1000m WR is nice as well, but not a real decision maker.
