Post subject:  Why are so many second hand watch dealers in Florida?
Both on eBay and on TimeZone and TRF. Lots of these guys are in Florida.

Any theories why?

My guess? Retired folks moving to warmer climes and supplementing retirement income.

Probably because there are a lot of first hand dealers there too.

actually, its gets a lot more specific than florida, south florida, 3 counties. palmbeach,broward, and miami-dade. its the flash capital of the us. same reason busiest mercedes dealer and bmw dealers in the world are here. west palm beach is a relatively small town. witha a lambo, ferrari, aston martin, bentley, rolls, maserati dealers on the same street. they issue you a 2 tone submariner and a bmw when you urn 20 here i think. there are 15 breitling dealers in a 60 mile stretch here. there are 7 in nyc, and 3 are torneau stores.
