Post subject:  Just in the nick of time
Today as I post this I am sitting in Baghdad killing time before we head to the airport this afternoon to catch our flight bound for Dubai. Unfortunately Justin P.'s (roman4450) work required his presence at another base so we were not able to hook up while I was passing through. One ray of sunshine out of all this was that fortunately we were delayed getting out of Joint Base Balad until yesterday and that one day was all that was needed for my last expected "Inbound" to make it to me....whew! It was sent registered & insured, but still having anticipated it's arrival for the past 3 weeks, the thought of leaving before it's arrival was a killing me. At any rate I got some shots of him last night before I hit the sack and thought I would share them with ya.

Sorry for the bad pics, but this piece is hard to photograph as it is one of those pieces that picks up reflections easily.

Congrats man, I'm glad you got it before you left. It might have taken another three weeks to get to Afghanistan. There's just something about JLC's that I love, I bet this would look great on a brown strap. Congrats again and have a fun trip.

Wow! Congrats, great choice :wowzers . One of two of my favorite JLCs (affordable ones anyway). How did you find this one ?

You know they sent me a brown croc with it too and I went off and left it back in my room in Iraq. Good thing I'm going back to get the rest of my stuff in March. I was in such a hurry that I blew out of Iraq without even trying it on...yeah I know...can ya believe it? I think I need a link added and didn't notice it there was one in the box, but it does irk me I left that brown croc ....grrrr I hate being rushed.

@Kodiak....sir I was scouring the web looking for one of these jewels for several weeks before this one popped up on the Bay. It was one of those, "at the right place at the right time" things. Too bad they quit making this model, I really like the classy simplicity of this dial.
