There it was, staring me right in the face all this time, and it was only this morning that the penny dropped - I couldn't figure out why it was that acceldebt was so keen on everyone polishing their watches and then I read one of his posts from yesterday and it shone through like a celestial light - he's the Florida rep for Cape Cod polishing cloths!

Just look at the evidence:-

he advocates shiny not matt

he has a 'Internet based' business

he plays guitar (and how!)

(No, I'm not exactly sure how that fits in either... )

Own up acceldebt - put us out of your misery...

Sportback,

No I don't sell polishing cloths and the internet is just the main way that my clients find me. Polishing is something that must be present in watches on the caliber of Lings. Now on that new one that you just bought a polish job wouldn't even help. Face it the time has come for you to get the ZENITH !

So what do you think of this one?

It's at least got some bits polished...and it's a 44mm

Sportback,

It's better but it's still ugly as hell and it doesn't even have a metal bracelet. Stop trying to get off easy and cough up the CASH for a Zenith. The Zenith has everything you want, it's black, it's big, it's unique and it's great. Those Panerai's look like wall clocks in a police station. Get the Defy Extreme with the El Primero movement and you will really have a great watch. How can you go from a Bentley to a Panerai ? it's unbelievable, get the Zenith or get an all gold Bentley Mulliner Perpetual !! Since you got the Bentley you have come to a point where you have run out of Lings that will be as great as the Bentley unless you go with all gold and you don't like all gold so you have no choice but to spring for the Zenith

Nice watch, i was thinking about getting the Luminor Power Reserve with the metal band. Another attractive watch is the Corum Regatta.
