I really love this Zenith 2010 El Primero 36000 vph. 42mm, but wears much larger. It has a high gloss striated black dial with true silver sub surrounds and chapter ring. The light just dances off the dial (not that I would ever be able to capture that!). Just some hints of red on the subdial and chrono seconds hands. This dial and case is the same as Zenith’s new tourbillion – except for the tourbillion…..and about $50K on the price tag. A nice butter soft black alligator strap finishes it off.

I had considered the new Striking 10th but couldn’t get past the jerking chrono seconds hand as it rotated the dial in 10 seconds.

That is how you do a sporty/dressy chrono!!!!

Nice pickup sharky. I say we get a BSource pot together to fly Helderberg out to Arizona and shoot pics of "THE" collection.

Nice pickup.

Did you see the new tourbillon while you were at it - it's a heck of a watch for very reasonable money.

Love the texture on that dial.

Very nice, shark, that's a great blend of sporty and dressy. I also like the date at 6 o'clock instead of 4-5.

Great piece, I like the dial very much, the balance between silver and black looks great. I also like the Chrono pushers very much!! Nice pick up.

And BTW...your signature says SHARK (white).... what is this all about?????????

Very nice! As stated already, a little bit sporty and a little bit dressy.

Two small things I particularly like about this piece - the red tipped hands on the chrono function indicators (to differentiate them from the regular time hands) and the opened up rotor to help see the movement through the display back (not bad for an automatic).

I'm sure the El Primero buzzing away at 36,000 vph is impressive, otherwise I don't know anything about it. Congrats again!

Yeah a Shark is inbound.

And I did see the tourbillion today - even had it on my wrist. Beautiful! And some dlc beast with rose gold bezel and integrated rubber strap.. Amazing what they can do with a Zenith display when they take all the Defys away. Some really nice stuff, including the same watch in silver and a medium blue gray. But this one caught my eye.

That's not a bad looking watch Tom. Simple, elegant and a good combination of sporty and dressy as has been stated numerous times above.

I'm not a raving fan of Zenith but that is one of the better one's I've seen. Nice pick up.

That is a beautiful watch. i think it has a more than passing similarity to the new TransOcean (the pushers and lugs). A great retro watch, i think.

:yeahthat

I think the two are very similar, but are different enough that they could co exist in a collection without being repetitive.

That's a beauty!! I love the display back, they sure do know how to make a movement pretty.

On a side note, did you get a new camera or did someone else take those pics for you? :poke:
