I found an older Rolex DateJust and I am interested in it but don't want to buy a fake or pay too much. It's got the jubilee bracelet and the fluted (spelling?) bezel that is either 14K or 18K yellow gold (as well as the bracelet). The case is stainless. The bracelet feels really "used" for lack of a better word, and is loose feeling. The movement works well but does not have quick-set date. The gold appears solid and in good condition. The dial is in great shape as well as the crystal. The magnification appears correct on the date. I rate the overall watch at 6/10.
Provided the watch is authenic, what is a reasonable or decent price to pay for this used Rolex DateJust? US dollars.

I'm no rolex expert but it might serve you to look at the 'sold" section of ebay for this type of watch to get an idea of fair market value.
