Does any one have experience with those bracelet polishing pens? $20 seems cheap enough but not if I gonna make the bracelet look worse. The photos the vendors show seem to have impressive results. Any comments? Happy New Year |

I've not seen a polishing pen before, but I've seen fibreglass pens for sorting out scratches on brushed surfaces - is that what you mean? If so, then they are quite useful for very small scratches. However, whatever you do don't be tempted to try them on a larger area : the results will be terrible. For larger areas (or even for smaller scratches if you want to sufficiently blend them in) you are often better to use a scotchbrite pad for a more even finish. As I say, this is relating to fibreglass pens for brushed finishes, not polished surfaces. I've not come across a polishing pen myself. |
