Post subject:  Tool to adjust and or replace bracelets

I have a small collection of watches and have been considering purchasing 3rd party straps and is wondering if there is a specific tool that I need to adjust and replace the bracelets. My collection consist of Oris, Omega, Tag and Breitlings. Specif models are list in my signature below.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Jerome,

That's fine but don't let us catch you DEGRADING your Lings with straps. They must remain on bracelets. You've made it to the Whole Ling Club with the Super Avenger so don't transform it from a Whole Ling to a Degraded Ling.

Ling man,

No need to worry about the Super Avenger, that will remain a full ling as long as its in my possession. I'm interested in swapping bracelets on my SuperOcean (Interested in a Breitling rubber strap) and a few other none Breitling.

Proud member of the whole ling club :)

I'd Recommend a Bergeon spring bar tool.. but any brand will probably do. A good one will be less likely to break and probably make it easier to not scratch your lugs.

This is the one I usually use, or just a plain 1.00mm screwdriver...
Be carefull, spring bars can fly far away!

I was thinking about that, maybe we should come up with some type of a protective doom that you use to cover your hands and watch whenever your working with things like spring bars.

Thanks for the recommendation I recently ordered one and will be picking it up tomorrow.

?? protective doom? :?

If you want to protect your lugs you can put tape over them when you change straps/bracelets.

Thanks for the suggestions. Today I picked up a tool kit with all the appropriate parts required to fit and replace straps/bracelets.

Thanks again for your valued input.
