I have ot admit that for a gizmo junkie, like myself, that is a pretty cool idea. I don't know if its cool enough to fork out the price they were asking + the price of the NANO, though. |

I think the stupid part is having your headphones connected to your wrist. |

I like it very much. Bet they will sell a lot of them. I'll probably end up getting one, which means getting the new nano despite already having 2 nanos. |

So true! ![]() Saw this a while ago, wondered how it might work while running, but I think the swinging of the arm would be too much at the wrist for the earphones to do anything but slap around and get in the way and be irritating... Does look cool, though. |

I'm sure at some point every iPod is gonna have a bluetooth built in so headphones won't need wires. Maybe I'm just living in fantasy land. I'm so friggin tired of ripping the headphones out of me ears in the gym because a weight got caught on the damn wire. |

Same here, at least they don't fall out while I'm running, not that I do that very often. I even run the damn thing under my shirt and it still happens. |

How in the world can we have blue-tooth headsets for phones of all makes and models, but we still have wires running our music? There even lots of options for wireless home headphone sets, and it just baffles me there isn't something like this out yet. ![]() Anywho....Regarding the ipod watch, I wouldn't ever use it but strikes me as a cool idea for a tween. ![]() There is another one of these on the web somewhere that is more of a Nato strap, and is prob a bit cheaper. |

Just wanted to add one more vote for bluetooth headphones and I'm in. I'd love something like this for the gym or exercising outside and the only thing that stops me is the chord running from my wrist to my head - very annoying. But accessing the nano from my wrist would be awesome. |

Running near-continuous bluetooth on an MP3 player would suck the battery dry pretty quickly, I think... We have them for our phones, but of the time between charges of your phone, what percentage is spent actually on a call? Most of the time the phone's on standby/texting/checking email, etc. An MP3 player is different, though-- pretty much all the time it's in use, it's playing music, so if it had to support bluetooth broadcasting the entire time, I don't think the battery would last long. Pretty sure there might also be some sound quality issues, too. I actually have no idea what sort of quality can be broadcast with bluetooth, but I doubt it can compare to "proper" headphones because of the compression required... Anyone know the answer to this question? |
