Went to my local AD yesterday looking at a Superocean Heritage for the 100th time. I've been seriously interested in more of a simple design, somewhat understated with maybe a retro look. Superocean was my piece of choice but I just couldn't pull the trigger, for some reason. Just didn't seem like the right thing to do.

Anyway, long story short, I changed my mind and came home with this baby instead. One of the nicest looking exhibition backs I've seen in my opinion.

Unquestionably one of the finest looking display backs on the market.

A truly beautiful and classic piece. I've been debating between the IWC Portuguese and Zenith Chronomaster Open for quite some time. The Navi 01 slipped in above both of them, but I still think I may have to get a Portuguese at some point. Great pickup.

Grats on the Portugese, wear it in good health!

Is it just me or is the date wheel not sitting centered?

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated. Had to think twice about breaking the Bling string, but I'm happy I did.
You made me look twice at the date Justin, thankfully it's just the photos. Looking at it straight on it's dead center.

Glad to hear it's straight. Pics seem to do that a lot!

Beautiful watch...I love the blue. This one will be on my list if IWC can get the accuracy issues ironed out with the movement.

Does this have the same movement as the Big Ing and the BP? I've heard bad things about the accuracy of those two, but not with the 7 Day, but it may just be because they're more popular. Either way, beautiful watch. Again, congrats.

Do people use watches to tell time?

From the research I've done the accuracy issues were associated with the IWC 51111 movement. Same one found in the Big Pilot. The 7 day has an IWC 51001 which doesn't seem to have the same issues.

Time will tell. No pun intended!
