sicking with my usual 48mm and up size rules, i got a deal i couldnt pass up on a corum black hull, i am very impressed with it so far, the titanium makes it so much lighter then any of my lings the same size, i forgot it was on before!

i have been staking out corums for a while, and i really like the way the company has been handling themselves in the last couple years, they got rid of the goofy watches, making serious pieces, everything is some sort of numbered edition, this is of 999. i like the fact that corum usa went back to control of the original family in france.

overall im very happy, and i know, i will post pics when i can

Many Congratulations Geoff.

I've always been a big fan of these style of Corums and this is my favourite so far.

I've tried one on they feel and look great on the wrist.

I've just never got the Admirals Cup link. This means nothing to me. Is the Admirals Cup really that big?

That is a fine looking watch Fear....I agree, good to see Corum moving away from all the goofy looking watches they were making for sure. Enjoy your Christmas present to yourself there sir and wear it in good health.

Here are some quick wrist shots from my phone, best i can do at work. keep in mind i have gorilla arms, so the proportions arent the same as most people, but it wears very very light and flat, i dont know its there, literally. i thought i wasnt wearing anything at one point, im used to my bentley gmt i have been wearing daily.

That is some bad ass lume. I can't believe how bright it is for looking black. Man I wish the Blackbird had that. That is the nicest Corum I have ever seen.

Hawtshit!

Veeery nice FEAR.

I really like the contrast between the case and the bezel as seen from your side angle pic. This is a watch for Jean-Luc to wear

I just realised what's so striking about this-- the unusual choice of positions for the arabics!

Thanks for the wrist shots-- it's definitely a beast, but it's really beautiful; there's an interesting sheen off the hands and the black lume is a really great unusual feature. I love that the subdials are all completely, properly different and that the markers outside the... I don't know what else to call them but batons, wrong as that seems, are all different-- it looks like some kind of alien numeric system! It's kind of like the watch a Predator would have if they weren't so amped on having everything digital...

It's a really great buy, I hope it works out for you. :D
