I like it. Although I am getting a little full of PVD watches. But that one looks pretty cool.

Big fan of the look of Graham watches (though not this one), not a big fan of the price of Graham watches considering the generic movement in them.

I would have to get a very big discount to buy one - as Admin did with his.

I like Graham designs but they are very expensive for what's inside. I know we've debated at length on here about whether people actually care about the movement inside a watch, but I'm one of those who does care, especially in this price range. A predominantly generic movement is fine in an Oris because they price accordingly : not so with Graham.

On this particular model, well it looks cool enough and I like the fact it's a ratty (not nearly enough rattys out there IMO), but it's yet another surface coated PVD'd/DLC'd model, so that's an immediate no-no for me anyway. The only black watches I'd ever personally advocate are ceramic pieces.

I worry about ceramic pieces as well... as a drop could mean totaly destruction of the case.

True enough Admin, but personally I think a watch is more prone to scratching through normal wear than dropping, so given the choice of PVD/DLC or ceramic, I'd always go with ceramic.......... although the price is usually a considerable premium too.

I don't mind the dials on the Graham's but that crown just doesn't do it for me. Not a big fan of the surface coating either.

Ive read stories of Rolex owners with the ceramic bezels breaking after banging their wrist against something. The last AD I spoke to mentioned it as well, and told me how much a replacement insert was. Dont remember the price, but it was something preposterous...I think there was something about platinum in the explanation too

50 Years i waited for my "ideal" watch, it was then, and is now ........
I finally chose my SA 563 in blue with a pro II bracelet last year at this time, since then all the so called super priced pieces shown at different times in this forum have done nothing to make me change my mind.
However knowing what goes on inside the piece can sometimes be a disadvantage,being a "appeals to me " guy.
My SA is around the £3,300 mark so what am i missing for a further £222,000 ?.......not anything that would justify such a large amount of money im sure.............

What do you guys think of the Graham Chronofighter Oversize GMT Big Date. Website says it has an in house movement. Anybody know anything about it?
Came very close to picking up a Superocean Heritage in white today, but can't seem to get the thoughts of possibly seeing new in house Breitling movements, in the full line, in the near future. I'd also have thought discounts on existing movements would be greater if people like me are waiting for the in house movements to be introduced into other models. Best I could get was 20%.
