Guys,

I am thinking about selling one of these watches to fund a JLC Extreme World Alarm. I really enjoy both of these watches but I absolutely love the EWA. I'm having a hard time decided on which of these two to keep. The Zenith is a very dressy watch and doesn't dress down. The Breguet can worn with a suit or with a pair of jeans...and it looks great both ways. The Zenith El Primero movement is one of the best movements made but the Breguet movement is highly accurate; I've owned it for 3 months and it's +35 seconds! WOW. The Breguet's deployment is a piece of crap while the Zenith's double deploy is very solid but pinches my wrist when closing it. I can go on and on for an hour and bore you, what do you all think? Sell one for the EWA or keep both and forget the EWA?

That is a tough choice, they are all so different from each other. My vote would be to sell the Zenith, the Breguet is too beautiful to get rid of.

:yeahthat

+1

As you stated the Breguet can go dressy or casual, so being more practical it would get more wrist time. My 2 cents

Looking at your collection, I'd probably sell the Breguet and keep the Zenith. Personally I'd want another white or silver dial around besides the SOHC LE. You'll probably be able to sell the Breguet as well for more money. Zeniths aren't known for their tremendous resale value.

Keep them both. Buy the EWA. Sell your car.

Zenith is the more sensible choice to sell, but selling the Breguet will retain more variety in your collection.

I agree with what you and Justin are both saying about keeping the Zenith for more variety. Maybe I'll sell my Omega PO and find a pre-owned EWA; that wouldn't be a bad option.

I would keep both over that JLC. Agree the Zenith adds silver to your collection, but if you had to sell one, I would sell Zenith.

Breguet is too nice to sell. Not an easy choice. I like Tom's idea of keeping both and selling the car. Get a cheaper car, keep Omega.

If it were me the Zenith would be for the chop! I love the Breguet its beautiful and so is the JLC. The Zenith just looks to classy for my liking I would never wear it!

Cheers

Never sell that Breguet, it is perfect!

The Zenith, while it may give some diversity in your collection, is not as versatile as the Breguet. The Zenith is also somewhat busy for a dress watch.

If it were me, I'd sell the Zenith, but then having a silver dial in the collection wouldn't be important to me.

Nooo!! Don't sell the Breguet! Or at least, not until say, Valentine's Day? I'm fresh out of holiday excuse to my wife to buy another watch...

The Breguet will be staying for sure and the Zenith is on the way out. It's already up for sale. The Omega may go if I pick up the JLC EWA.
