I need to get one and this one is perfect from a aesthetics and practical standpoint as it hold my two watches with room to grow and also has compartments for things my other watch bands, cuff links, etc.....problem is I know nothing about these things and want to be sure this is appropriate for my two Breitlings. I don't like winders that have room for two watches on one head. I previously owned one similar to this from acetimer.com, having two watches on one head would cause the watches to rub against each other and scratch the case. Also, I believe two watches on one head makes the cheap motors wear down faster. If you're looking for an inexpensive winder I highly recco the brookstone watch winders; they're great quality and very quiet! You can get a quad winder for $199. |

I just bought the Brookstone winder and I'm really happy with it. I put it on a timer so it runs for 18 hour with 6 off so my watches all get a good rest period. Just set the speed so it does the 650 or 800 TPDs in 18 hours instead of 24. |

If you want a cheapo get a Brookstone. If you want a good one, Wolf Designs or Orbita are very popular. Depending on which you prefer, there are people who can steer you into a great deal on them here. |

The uneven weight distribution on the head wears the (already cheap) motors faster, and the odds of the two watches touching and thereby scratching each other is always a consideration. For a cheaper winder, I use the Official Time Van Gogh series. They're nicely finished with single watch heads, and while not being absolute bargain basement in prices they are of a pretty decent quality all things considered. That said, I'm now (slowly) moving over to Orbita Sparta Delux winders as they're a decent make without breaking the bank, I like the style of them, and the Sparta models offer probably the most natural winding action of any winder out there. |

My two Official Time winders have performed very well, but they're not yet a year old. They certainly look nice, especially the Baroque 4 model. |

I would get the brookstone over that every time. I got a brookstone 4 watch for sale for $150, just because I need a 6 now,and I'm spend big $ on a orbit 6 |
