What popular watches do you guys dislike? For me it is Panerai (gasp!), I thought over time they would grow on me like the AP ROO, but they just don’t do it for me - aesthetically speaking. I can appreciate the craftsmanship and I think the bands they use are quite nice but the case itself is an eyesore. 95% of you won’t agree with me, as I know the majority of you have a pam or two. Also, I am not a big fan of the Bell & Ross watches, maybe it’s the square case but they look like they belong on a 12 year olds wrist.

Planet Ocean and Submariner. Never got into it. I don't really care for watches that have painted or rubberized bezels...

AP ROO, any Rolex except the Deep Sea, Super Avenger, most Hublots.

Yeah I know, I'm a miserable old man.

Yea I would agree with the AP ROO too... don't really see what's so special about it...

LOOKSWISE, I'd rather take a Hublot...

That one surprises me Roff. I didn't used to like it much myself, but it's grown on me massively, especially now that they have the movement to justify the price (at long last!).

For me I dislike all current Tag Heuers (and I've only ever really like one in the past), all Hublots, all B&R's except the BR02 Chrono (which I really like apart from the price), and any Rolex equiped with the old-school tin-foil bracelet.

On a more generic level, I dislike anything with rubber components on the watch head (i.e. bezels, crown guards, etc), and anything with surface coatings (PVD, DLC, etc).

Oh yeah, let's throw Tag into the mix too - don't like them either.

I just don't 'get' the whole ROO thing. Are they unpleasant, no, are they as exciting as some people would have you believe - not to me.

I would have put PAM on the list until recently, but I'm not sure that I dislike them now, don't really like most of them, but it's more apathy than anything else with most.

I am a self acknowledged watch snob who is starting to feel old - I make no excuses

Interesting. Im a big ROO fan, but the version that ive never fallen for was the Safari. Its a fine watch--great looking too--I just never fell for it the way so many others have. (Why do I know that im going to start lusting after a Safari now?)

You read my mind. :? I'll also go with TAG as well, along with most Rolex's except the GMT-IIC, the Yachtmaster and the Explorer II, even if the bracelet does suck I really like it. I can't stand Hublot either and any Panerai for Ferrari, just ugly.

Also pretty much all of the B4B line except the old GT's with the plain dial, don't like the diamond pattern. I don't the the Galactic line either, the square thing in the dial also bugs me.

I'm sure that there are a bunch more but I can't think of them right now.

Of all the brands I am familiar with I would probably have one or two from there collection apart from one brand. Omega. I can honestly say not a watch in their collection appeals to me!!

I would kind of agree, but I would say it would be my go to ROO for under 20k, the more expensive ones are a bit more aesthetically pleasing.
