Tried this watch today...looks pretty neat....what do you think of it as a second watch for every day use when I don't want my Navi World to get banged up...it costs around $200

I'm not really feeling it, but it's your wrist. I have no problem with a $200 beater watch, but to me this one looks like it's trying to be more expensive than it really is. Maybe of the gold was silver I'd like it better.

I actually tried on the one with the steel bracelet...it looked nice but was very heavy (185g I think)...did not try on this one...I like the black/bronze combination though & its a good change to wear a watch that you don't really have to be very careful with...

I was thinking the same thing. If you're concerned with durability, get a Luminox or something. Or just save up and buy a Breitling in the Aeromarine line. They're plenty durable.

I wouldn't quite call it an AP - like design....
Its actually more of a Concord design knockoff.

It's very durable as long as you don't take it in the water.

Ye olde lipstick on a pig trick. No offense. ;) Buy yea, it looks like it's trying to look more prestigious than its roots.

Not really feeling it , for 200$ you can get a nice G Shock or a Seiko Monster. Those are perfect beater watches.

:yeahthat

And while I make it a rule not to agree with Palantas about anything, the Luminox suggestion is spot on. Check out the Colormark series - under $300, big, and doesn't pretend to be something it isn't.

BTW the "bronze" color is an attempt at rose gold.

Could I interest you in a lovely Xezo????

Shark, what does this Xezo look like, not that I'm interested, just curious.

How about the Victorinox Air Boss Mach 8 Special Edition, what do you guys think of that watch?

Now that one I like. Pretty cool looking watch with a Valjoux 7750, a display back and a decent WR. Much better choice in my opinion.

:uplaugh: too funny.

I agree with Roman, i don't like watches that try to make themselves look like they're super expensive when they're not. If the gold was SS then in think id like it more.
