So, assuming many of you are thinking about adding something to your collection soon (safe assumption I think :D ), what are you looking at getting?

Those of you who acquire new pieces at a fast pace may need to post multiple times. Not naming any names, of course... :poke:

The million dollar question.

I wanted to get the yellow emergency, but then I thought the color might not match everything, so I decided to get the chronospace, but now i'm thinking it's a bit too big....and now i'm thinking of just buying a steel bracelet for my navi world (more comfortable for me than leather) and sticking with my navi world+rolex yacht master

I wonder what i'll wake up wanting tomorrow...we'll see....

I am actually looking at a couple of pieces, and depending on circumstances early next year I will make a decision.

For a dressier watch I am looking at a Baume and Mercier 8869. This may be my first new higher end watch as it is a new model, and finding a used one from a trusted seller may be tough.

However, If I can find a BEB BB in the secondary market (looking @ you Serge ) about the same time, I would be hard pressed to pass it up. :lingsrock:

Then there is the Lemania Cossie that will be on the wish list until it is in the watchbox.

Long answer to a short question, but I am sure everyone knows how hard it is to pin down just one.

PS. You cant ask a question without at least giving your own answer. :poke:

Fair enough... I'm not looking to enlarge the collection, so if I get a new piece, an existing one or two will have to make way.

I'm still very keen on a vintage Rolex GMT, either a 1675 or a 16750, or maybe a 16760 (which isn't really vintage but is collectible IMO).

Further down the track, the IWC 5001 is still on the radar.

Well my Navitimer B01 is on order, but discounting that I have a few things in mind. I'm hoping to make a trip to an AD that has some brands that I don't often get a chance to see in the metal in a couple of weeks and keeping cash around in case there is anything that takes my fancy. More details if I decide to do anything.

I'm also looking at a couple of niche pieces - small brands that produce a relatively low number of pieces each year. I'm still on my 'different' kick so those are appealing. Not necessarily high end in house pieces, just something that is a very different look.

Realistically I'm looking to add a PO early next year. I've always wanted to try Omega to see how they compare to Breitling and have found an AD that has great deals on second hand Omega's. However I'm still not against a Chronomat or CSO instead of the Omega.

More long term the AP ROO, JLC Master Chrono and Bremont Alt1-Z.

I had that AP on my wrist. It is stunning! No offense to the Rolex, but not even close.

I'll get something new by the end of the year, but I still don't have the slightest idea what that will be. I'd like it to be a silver or grey dial, and I keep looking at the rhodium dial UN Maxi Marine Diver.
