Do alarm watches have some sort of "charge" period? For example, lets say the alarm goes off right now, and after it has stopped making sounds, could you set the alarm to go off right afterwards or does it have to "chargeup" before it can work again? I'm wondering because Jaeger alarms seem to last a long time sound-wise when it goes off (maybe this is with all watches, idk, i've only seen jaeger ones). Thanks |

They have a separate spring that needs to be wound. The process of winding varies from watch to watch from an additional crown to a slide or similar. |

Yeah. Forget the big expensive alarm watch and slap a Casio on your wrist for bedtime. ha. Felt like I had to comment here as I often wonder who really uses there watch as an alarm clock anymore these days. I don't even use am alarm clock - just my cell phone. |

I use the alarm on my watch all the time, granted it is a casio and I'm in Iraq, but I don't have a cell phone over here. I would love a mechanical alarm watch at some point, I don't know how much I'd use it, but it seems like a pretty damn cool feature. |
