Looks like a Timex Ironman, not quite sure of its age, but it appears to be an older model. Maybe mid 90's? |

Its a shame, that a man in his position has no style to get himself a decent watch but has such a piece of crap on his wrist instead. BG Thomas |

An executive at my company wears a mickey mouse watch. He has gold Rolex watches as gifts (companies awards program) but only wears that watch. It was a gift from his father when he was 9, last gift before his father passed away. Maybe its the same situation ? |

Could be Altair. Another possibility is that he just isnt into watches like we are. Everyone has their guilty pleasures, maybe he views a watch as just a source of time, but at the same time he could have a deep love for sailboats, or cars. I would find it hard to write a check for a ferrarri if I had the money, but you better believe I would run to my nearest Vacheron or Patek AD and pick out something of equal value with no trouble. To each there own I suppose. Still, I do think its kind of embarrassing to wear such a watch everyday if your work attire is a suit. I get that you dont want to spend a ton on a watch, but it should work with your wadrobe regardless of price. |

If he sold maybe twenty five of his 3.2m GS shares he could get a really nice piece... ![]() |

Inspired by another recent post... Maybe he and his secretary plan an 'intimate' moment in a hot tub straight after the meeting. He probably left his Breitling safely at home, his investment too valuable to risk during vigorous unvestment. |

I had that watch! For all you timex haters I thought it was pretty cool when I bought it, early 90's. FYI: the software doesnt work on anything besides Win98. Oh and you need a CRT screen. I was 12 when I got that watch. It amazed me that my watch could talk with my computer. chance- it was walmart but i paid $50 for it thank you. Probably one of the more expensive watches walmart sold. |

I didn't mean to come off as offended chance. I just re-read my reply and it sounded alittle harsh. I only meant it in a jokingly manner. but ya the watch was pretty cool for its time. Come on having your phone numbers and calender on a watch was something else for me. |

BG Thomas Don't let that cheap watch fool you. I'm sure he's rollin' in the dough. ~Brian |
