Every ten some one in my company hits the 10 year mark we like to buy the a nice gift. Typically the pattern has been a watch. Usually we fit the watch around the persons personality and how we think they would wear it. The man is a little on the heavy side and has a larger wrist (i would imagine) so I don't want something tiny. He works out back in our warehouse(floor manager) so I would want something slightly rugged. My budget after a discount would be $1500 (Max). What is out there? I was told to look at the Hamilton 46mm scuba watch. Thought it was rather nice but would else? I would like to have a nice selection to choose from if possible. Please help, not a lot of time left! ![]() |

Not too familiar with that brand. I did fail to mention that I would want an automatic movement. |

Yeah I was gonna point you toward Oris. Best buy in a swiss watch, IMO. Your not gonna find giant watches from them but pretty decent selection. |

Easy for me, Omega Seamaster, can be had for close to that amount second hand even cheaper and is a classic, many people who are new to watches love it and it can takea beating and still look good. Also, the Breitling Steelfish can be had for that amount as well and is an absolute beauty in my opinion! |

Any preference to strap or bracelet watches? Ball Watch maybe? I quite like these watches, and may pick one up as a daily wearer. The EMII Diver may be within your budget depending on the amount of discount. http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/Ball-Watch ... ch-(BL-051) Tbh that photo doesn't seem to do it much justice, this video review of the chrono version shows the watch in much better detail. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUiJJxNt ... playnext=1 I also agree with Jefferson about the Oris Diver. I really like it on the rubber, and it's way within the budget at £780 ($1250) |
