What are the top combat watches for hard use? I would prefer a self winder or a watch that has a battery that lasts for years. I am looking at Luminox, Suunto, etc. I want it for hard out door use and abuse. |

If you're looking for swiss, (although I usually despise TAG) the Tag Formula is pretty rugged. |

![]() "It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'". Can't remember which brand of watch that slogan referred to but it should have been written for the G-Shock. I know it's getting monotonous but you simply can't go wrong with a G-Shock. Only question is which of the hundreds of models to pick. I couldn't get used to a digital model so switched to their "aviation" analogue model. |

How about a Marathon. Very rugged but well made. |

Otto that tides functionality and moon phase looks awesome. i had the chance to try on the white one a while back and although i liked it....the thought of wearing a white plastic watch was too hard for me to pull off. |
