One for all you Panerai guys out there - Does anyone know of an aftermarket Panerai strap maker (other than Watchboys and Panatime) who make aftermarket DEPLOYANT compatible Panerai straps please? There's a million makers out there who make tang and buckle straps, but deployant compatible ones are few and far between. Any help appreciated!

Can't the tang style straps be used with a Panerai deploy? I was thinking of getting a deploy for the tang buckle alligator strap on my new Pam and saw what appeared to be tang based compatable deploys. |

No, the tang straps are slightly thicker and a deployment won't work. The straps which are made for deployments are slightly thinner towards the tails to accommodate the deployment. |

I just emailed John from Dangerous 9 straps, he does make straps that will fit panerai deployments...all he asks is that you send him the deploy so he can be sure of a perfect fit since all of his straps are custom. He emailed me a few photos of his straps on PAM deploys...I'll post them a bit later. Driver8 wrote: One for all you Panerai guys out there -

ABP Paris is the very best, and they make them for deployant as well. Most custom strap makers will modify for a deployant. Does this mean you are about to gte your first Panerai? |

I agree that ABP would always be my first choice for custom straps, but I don't really want to spend ABP money for this particular strap that I'm looking for now. The watch it is going on is not a Panerai..... but it's Panerai sized! Basically it's something that's going to be my only non-in-house watch going forward, and the OEM options aren't overly fantastic. I don't really want to call it a beater because I never use any watch like that : it's more a "daily wearer if I want to stick something on and not even have to consider it" type of watch! All will be revealed! @mfserge - thanks for the Dangerous 9 heads up, but I'm thinking they're going to be a little too custom and therefore a little too expensive for what I'm looking for. I'm leaning towards Panatime, Watchboys or TC Straps at the moment. |

Ah, I see. Could it be something from our German friend I wonder? How is the All In House policy panning out? Obviousely you are still sticking with it, did you sell your watches yet? |

Ted Su will also make straps that work with the Panerai deployant. |
