I enjoy my U-Boat though not the same as the one you are looking at.

No arguments on that one - U-Boat make some amazing looking pieces, but like so many other brands I find the prices too high for what they are (mechanically speaking). With the big discounts that you can find by shopping around then they become much more attractive.

The ones ive seen in person are very disappointing. Quality/fit/finish seemed well below what I would expect from a watch costing thousands of dollars. If im not mistaken, they are basically bone stock ETA's as well. Nice looking, but thats about it.

I'm in the distinct minority here, but these just don't make sense to me. Personal preference makes the world go 'round.

I believe its 43 -> 50 -> 53 ->55. However, I think only some avail in 50 and 55. I'm not totally sure for all their info.

I'm with you on this one sharkman. There was one U-Boat model I quite liked the look of a year or so back (I forget the name), but when I handled it it did nothing for me at all.

To be honest when Admin said he couldn't get that model out of his head, I actually thought he was kidding! :oops: Sorry guys, but these do nothing for me at all. Each to their own I guess.
