Hi All,

Would to seek your opinion on which Longines would you choose?
Personally, I like like them both! I found them both very aesthetically appealing. I'm not an expert on the movement but I believe it's based on 7750 (correct me if I'm wrong). I haven't see much of them in the wild, maybe owners can post some pics or comment?

What do you think?

Either but I would personally go for the HydroConquest.
Both totally underrated and IMO very good value for money...

Not sure which is which but I prefer the top one which looks 7750 based. The bottom one doesn't look like a 7750 to me.

The Admiral (the bottom one) has an ETA A07.231 as it's base.

That's a fairly recent Valgranges movement. It was developed as a result of the trend to larger watches - it was logical to add a larger movement (this one's 16 1/2 lignes).

Well I personally prefer the Admiral. I get a bit bored seeing so many 7750 based pieces, and the Admiral just looks a bit different with it's nice symetrical dial and non-divers fixed bezel. The bracelet looks more interesting too (if a bit Omega Speedy-like).

The Admiral all the way! :D Although to be honest I'd go with this version of it with the ceramic bezel and links -

Very nice looking thing IMO.

Anyone else think the Longines Admiral has similar styling to the Jaeger-LeCoultre watches Master Compressor Chronograph?
