I thought the Deepsea was 43mm, at least nominally? |

Rolex's recent trend following case sizes: Deep Sea = 44mm (up from 40mm) Yachtmaster II = 44mm (up from 40mm) Day Date II = 41mm (up from 36mm) Explorer = 39mm (up from 36mm) |

Otto wrote: I thought the Deepsea was 43mm, at least nominally? Hey Otto - 43mm seems to be a popular misconception with the Deepsea. The current Rolex catalogue lists it as 44mm in diameter. (Incidentally it also list the YM II as 44mm as well). |

Most hardcore Rolex fans still can't get to grips with the concept of a 44mm Rolex, so a 46mm+ model just ain't gonna happen anytime soon. |

I was at the AD the other day and saw a Yachmaster. I commented it must be at least 43mm and the salesperson said - "oh no - 40. just looks bigger." Gaw. |
