Well I today added a 5512 to my collection, I think it fits in great with my Red Submariner -

The 5512 is from 1972 and the Red Submariner from 1971

Not the best pictures in the world but you get the drift.

Awesome pickup Mart. Beautiful patina on that one, and the hands match the rest nicely. Great pair, now you just need a 1665 sea dweller to go with them :D

Cheers guys :lingsrock:

Roff

I really do appreciate these old genuine watches my friend 8) Honestly these 2 are the most genuine pieces you will find, they do not pretend to be anything they are not and what you see is what you get. In the past I had to have Lume (brighter the better  ) but over the last year it is all about original honest watches with lovely Patina (which I hope I have)

Mart

Absolutely beautiful duo of vintage Subs you have there Mart.

As you know I recently realised a long time dream by adding a 5513 to my collection.

There really is something extremely special about these old patena'd classics.

Great pick up indeed.

WOW great watches Mart, I just love vintage subs!

Congrats on owning those two beauties!

I too just obtained a similar watch, vintage themed with patina-style numerals

Very simple and not pretentious either

Those look fantastic Mart, clearly in great condition. There is something about a vintage Rolex.
