So just wondering what opinion people have of Raymond Weil??

Browsing round the jewellers today looking at watches. No real change from the norm there, but there are a couple of Raymond Weil watches that caught my eye. Freelancer models in particular, just so different to the usual diver style stuff I tend to go for. Even tried a couple on.

I don't like to buy watches purely on name, but I don't want to through good money at something that's worthless

I am I fan of the sport range. I really feel the offer great value for money. The Parisfal range is also classy. Some jewelers here have had a 50% off clear out!!!

I've looked at Nabucco a few times - huge discounts available. The prices are reasonable as long as you are getting decent (40%+) discounts which are not too difficult to get, otherwise I'm not sure that the value is there for what they are.

It seems they were willing to do some kind of deal, but it didn't equate to anything like 40% off. Even in the UK we do see massive discounts on Raymond Weil sale stock, which to me suggests its maybe not quite as desirable as other brands.

So it looks like the bottom line is unless big discounts are offered, its worth moving on.
