Just wondering if anyone out there has a Wolf Designs 2.7 Roadster winder ideally with storage; anyone? I've been scouring the web looking for reviews and info on tons of winders and think this is the line that I like the most. Looks good, lots of options to wind most anything and super quiet. Important as my wife is quite easy to wake up with the slightest odd noise, and the winder will be about 6 feet from her head.
They have what they call an "Ebony Macassar wood veneer faceplate" that I was trying to find better pics of. How does it look? Cheap and fake or what?
Also, wondering how good the built in storage component is. Not sure if it would be better to have something stand alone, or get this one and kill two birds with one stone.
Finally, anyone have a preference for how many autos they have per winder? Not sure it's practical to have 1 winder per watch in my financial situation. I'm trying to decide if I wanna go single, and only rotate 1 that is not on my wrist, or go double and have room to grow the collection when I do. I'm certain I will have 2 Breitlings at some point! Would hate to buy a single now and then a double later. Maybe 1 winder with storage is fine for 3 autos and I doubt I will have more then 3 for years to come.
