I am considering purchasing one as soon as I find an authorized dealer. Yeah I know...it's a Citizen. No matter what you do to it or call it...it's a Citizen (I compare them to a Seiko).
Has anyone looked into these watches? They are hand-made and retail between 2,000 and 2,500K.

Im quite sure that the bronze faced Campanola that you have pictures does not retail for $2,000. I was quoted $750 from an AD a few months ago for this piece then I realized it has a japanese quartz movement. Great looking piece tho, but I'm not a fan of quartz watches.

Good luck.

The bronze-faced dial is actually a hand-lacquered finish. It is the Grand Compilation model with minute repeater (if I remember correctly). And yes, Jap quartz movement. I would buy it now for $750.00 if I can find an AD. Everywhere I have looked have the prices set between 2K and 2.5K for these watches. Heck, Citizen's signature line sells for 600-700 hundred currently, so $750 for a Campanola is a steal.

Try to find the most recent Watch Time Magazine, there was an add in there for this watch, I called the 800# for the AD and they said retail was $750. Maybe they were wrong? It has a perpetual calendar, moon phase, alarm, it has all the bells and whistles but it's quartz, so it isn't that difficult to add these functions into a battery powered watch. I love the look of it tho.

Cool, I will check on it. I also love the way it looks and functions. Again thanks.

They push them really heavily in the various watch magazines and it certainly is a huge number of complications for the money, and personally I find them to be attractively presented, but as mfserge says, they are Japanese quartz.
