Just when you thought the tide was turning and that UK AD's could now start competing with the US you get a VAT rise of 2.5%......W***ers!  Cheers ps I know it won't break the bank on a 3/4 grand watch but thats not the point! |

more important on ur point andrew will be if BUk put the prices up again this year, another 10% will make the 2.5% seem small |

At the risk of "going political" I actually don't think it was too bad a budget considering the state of the country thanks to the global economy and the helmsmanship of Mr Brown and co. But yes, I think time will tell if it'll affect our watch-buying capacity in due course.

I agree with you there Driver, its about time they grew a pair and just get on with it, not that I'm big into politics or have a lot of knowledge on it but Britain needs to reduce their deficit somehow before it all goes tits up. As far as recession goes,especially the last couple of years if things don't get sorted soon people will really start to know what a recession is all about.! Cheers ps. Its all about the watches.
