I know someone has meantioned this topic before... but can someone tell me if Nardin makes their own movements or are they using motified ETA or other movements? Most importantly if the Maxi Marine is in house or not.

Thanks in advance.

They have some in-house movements in the higher end pieces, but the Maxi Marine is 2892 based.

Which model do you have your eyes on Bronco ? I have been staring at the diver chronograph and the new titanium models but have not pulled the trigger yet.

I really like the Maxi Marine, silver face. I have seen some pretty good deals on a preowned one of these but never have pulled the trigger. I usually see them on a rubber stap, but somewhere I saw one with a bracelet and it looked real nice.

Even though its not in house, that model is still on the "list" (but I might have to thin the current collection before the next purchase!)

Maxi Marine or Maxi Marine Diver? I have the diver and it's a great watch. Amazing finishing and the dial is gorgeous. The bracelet is also one of the nicest although it isn't very adjustable.

oops, sorry Dan. The diver, like yours. I really like the looks of thier bracelet but rubber is comfortable so it wouldnt really matter to me.
