Traveling in Taipei currently. Found a new Rolex Submariner from a Rolex/Tudor store for approx. US$5,300 all in. Is this considered a good price? It is for a V-series Sub (no ceramic bezel).

You can get them for about that price in the U.S.; in CA IDK. Also, you're subject to duty upon arrival back to CA, I assume. So, I would rather purchase from a AD, and have a local dealer to turn to when you have issues with it. Notice how I said "when" not "if."

On edit, I see you're from CA, don't know what they're going for in the Great White North.

Assuming you mean the 16610, I think retail price is USD 5,995 excluding tax. They're not making any more of 'em, and in at least some places they're hard to get now. If it were me, for that price (and from an authorised dealer), I'd take it. Hard to go wrong with that model.
